Happy Texas Independence Day!

Ok, happy belated Texas Independence Day... yesterday has a little too busy for me to blog about this, so I'm doing this first thing this morning.
Also, a happy belated birthday to Sam Houston, General of the Texian Army and first President of the new Republic of Texas! (I know, I know... he's dead, Dave.)
