I did my patriotic duty...

I signed the petition for Kinky Friedman for Governor of Texas. I figure Texans deserve a real choice, and career politicians like Governor Rick "Good Hair" Perry, Congressman Chris Bell (who?), and Republican-turned-Independent State Comptroller "Grandma" Carole Keeton McClellan Rylander Strayhorn don't deserve a easy ride into Austin.
Aside: I'd want one of these shirts TODAY if it wasn't in brown. (Which only means I'll put off getting one til next month or so.) I like the visual effect, reminding those of us familiar with Texas history of some of the flags during our earlier struggles for independence.
